Setup Microsoft MFA with Text Code


1.)  Sign into myDMACC and choose the “Webmail” or “Office 365” button.

2.)   Upon selecting either of those buttons, you will be taken to a screen where it says, “More information required”. When ready, select

3.) You will be directed to a setup page that says, “Keep your account secure”. The Microsoft Authenticator App is the default option to setup. To select an alternative method, click the option in the lower left corner that says "I want to set up a different method".

4.) You will then be taken to a page that says “Keep your account secure”

  1. You will have the option to enter your preferred phone number.
  2. You can select “Text me a code” or “Call me”. For this support article we are going to

choose “Text me a code”

5.) After you enter your phone number select “Next”

7.) If it was successful, you will see the following: “SMS Verified. Your phone was registered

successfully.” Select, “Next”

8.) The next screen will re-confirm your setup. Select “Done” when complete.

9.) After selecting “Done” you will be logged into the application that you initially were trying to

access.
