Many HS students are in our system under the Career Advantage program, taking classes via dual enrollment with the high school. However, DMACC does not offer dual-enrollment classes in the summer. To take classes outside of Career Advantage, HS students need to submit a new student application for admission.
Click the following link to apply online: https://www.dmacc.edu/admissions/pages/new_students.aspx
Here are a few application tips...
- Create a log-in for the online application (this is not the same as the log in – for myDMACC and/or Blackboard used during dual-enrolled courses).
- Select non-degree seeking and the Liberal Arts program.
- If your student will be a freshman or sophomore in HS, they are also required to meet with a DMACC academic advisor. The DMACC Career Advantage Advisor, can satisfy this requirement. After the meeting, the advisor must email admissions@dmacc.edu to confirm.
- After the student receives confirmation of acceptance to DMACC, please submit this HS permission form. After it is processed by DMACC Admissions, the student can register for class(es).
