We have made some changes to the current motorcycle schedule in order to properly implement the newest safety protocols that the DMACC ‘Come Back Strong’ team has developed for our campus and facilities. After much discussion regarding the sanitation requirements, legal waivers, and extra duties that may be required from each person involved, we have made the following decisions in order to prepare more efficiently:

  • 3W-BRC will start as scheduled in July at the TI. Classes are capped at 6 students and distancing and cleansing will be performed.
  • Moped will start in July but in a different building on the Ankeny campus with more room for distancing.
  • All BRC and Remedial classes will be pushed back until 8/1/2020. This gives us more time to implement the required changes in the best way possible for our instructors and students. At that time we anticipate that we will be prepared to hold full classes of 12.
  • We will be adding additional weekend and week night classes for August and September.
