An admissions representative will provide the necessary support and assistance. Admission of High School Students DMACC offers the opportunity for high school students to enroll in credit courses. Juniors and Seniors: Complete steps 1 and 2 below if enrolling as a part-time student. Complete steps 1, 2 and 3 if enrolling as a full-time student. Freshmen and Sophomores: Complete steps 1, 2, 3 and 4. Freshmen and sophomores are limited to no more than two credit courses each semester and must remain part-time students. 1. Submit a completed Application for Admission and select: "I plan to take only a few classes for personal/professional development" on the application. Recommended browsers include Chrome, Firefox, and Safari. 2. Submit written approval from a parent/guardian and from a high school counselor or principal on the DMACC High School Permission Form. 3. Complete ACCUPLACER® Classic Test and ALEKS math placement assessment or submit ACT scores. Course placement is mandatory based on assessment scores. 4. Freshman and sophomores are required to meet with a DMACC academic advisor prior to registration. Admission of Home-Schooled Students 1. Submit a completed Application for Admission and select: "I plan to take only a few classes for personal/professional development" on the application. Recommended browsers include Chrome, Firefox, and Safari. 2. Submit written statement of approval from a parent or guardian on the DMACC High School Permission Form. 3.
