When you request funds from the 529 account you can have them sent directly to DMACC at which time they will be applied directly to your student's tuition account. At the request of the student we can also make any excess amount included in the check available at the bookstore to purchase books and supplies. The student can also set up a direct deposit of any excess funds to the checking or savings of their choice which they can then use for any other education expenses they may incur outside of the direct expenses from DMACC. To request a payment directly from the 529 account to DMACC you simply need to follow the request instructions provided by your 529 account manager and provide the student's DMACC ID number and the following mailing address:
DMACC
Attn: Student Accounts - Bldg. 1
2006 S Ankeny Blvd
Ankeny, IA 50023
You can also find more information regarding billing and payment by visiting the Student Accounts website at the following address: https://www.dmacc.edu/studentaccounts/Pages/welcome.aspx
